I changed the strings on my Ibanez Artcore the other day, using the same
brand and gage of strings as was on there and man it just won't tune. I
think I let the bridge slip. Before I start chasing my tail on this, I was
wondering if there are any of you with an Artcore that has the bridge set
in its original from the store place that could give me some measurments so
that I could get the bridge back to some what close to what it was. I have
done some reading on setting the bridge saddle by using inotation, but
would like to get the bridge closer to where it was originally first.
Thanks for your help.

Well, I've been chasing my tail on this for several days now, think it's
time to go to the guitar shop and see if they know a good luthier in the
area. Something here I'm just not getting right. I've tried the inotation
thing and would think I'm as close as I can get using a tuner, but it still
sounds terrible and won't tune. I can tune the 1st string with the tuner
then tune the rest of the strings to each other and it sounds closer but
still off. I tune all strings to the tuner and it is totally crap. Maybe I
ought to see if a luthier can permanetly attach the bridge so it never
moves. So tomorrow will see if I can find someone so I can get to playing
again. Later.
