If it ended tomorrow I can say that I lived through some very cool
times.
Not all good but not all bad either.
I have seen the world change drastically.
I saw the advent of rock n roll.
What a thrill it was.
I was in the war.
By no means a thrill.
I came back to music like Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band and Are
you Experienced?
The world changed and so did the music.
Then there was Woodstock.
And like Arlo said "Marijuana" and "A lot of freaks".
I hung in the 60's for decades.
It was a time of social unrest and rapid changes.
It was a time when the young population were heard.
Politics had a new meaning.
JFK promoted the younger generation.
Linden sent us to war.
Nixon brought us home.
Clapton drank Strange Brew while Janis gave us a Piece of her heart.
Grand Funk was Some kind of wonderful.
Speaking of funk who can forget James Brown and Wilson Pickett?
I could rave on and on about the music that changed our lives.
It's 40 years later now and I'm proud to say "I've been
there".
Maybe I'm still there.

I'm keeping the 70s music alive. Long live Mark Farner, Buck Dharma, and
Richie Blackmore! :)
