Does anyone remember me? I used to post here a couple of years ago.

I've had a rough year. In August of 2005, an aneurysm near my left eyebrow
ruptured, and I spent a month at Mass Medical in a medically induced stupor,
and another month at Eastern Maine Medical in Bangor in therapy. I'm much
better now, although I still have a few short term memory problems. It's
improving, though. A few names actually look familiar.

I think I promised someone on this site that I'd let him know when my CD was
released, although, I can't for the life of me remember who that someone
was. Anyways, IF YOUR HIM, you can listen to clips and/or buy is from my
website: http://www.cathycowette.com

Hey, guess what I bought a couple of months ago? If you guessed new guitar,
you're right. A Garrison 12 string. For those of you not familiar with
Garrison, they're made in Newfoundland. Here's their web site:

I'm having a ball playing it. It took some getting used to, though, because
the neck is wider than either of my Martin 6 strings.

I suppose some of you are wondering if the aneurysm caused me to forget how
to play guitar. The answer is no. I've been playing since I was about 8
years, so it's imbedded into my brain. I did have to relearn the fiddle,
though!

I remember you quite well. I was thinking about you in
September when I went up north (Lake Placid, I guess thats south for
you). A few months ago, one of the folks on RMMGA mentioned that you
had some medical problems and were on the road to recovery. I supose
that if you wanted to change your style you could now become a blues
musician since you've been there. Best wishes for a joyous and healthy
holiday season, and a full recovery. BTW as I recall there was a
certain troll here (forgot his name) who had been giving you a real
hard time, he has been gone for a long time.
