Hmmm. OK. I get the I, IV, V stuff with the occassional minors, like a
ii. But how do you notate that in a minor key? Is it still I, IV, V
progression or is it really i, iv, v progression because of the minor key
(setting aside for the moment that looks more like a i, ii, v to me)?
Major scale:
I - ii - iii - IV - V - vi - viidim
Minor scale:
i - iidim - III - iv - v - VI - VII
The minor scale roots (tonic) on the 6th degree of the major scale and you
still got the same chords. The differences are the roots.
