I was looking for a Fender maple neck for a strat.
Is anybody on my side here?
I exchanged a few emails with the seller.
I didn't post them here and will not.
Neither of us is on trial here.
I did the best I could with this.
I will not buy something that I can't use.
Had I known it was short scale I would not have bid on it.
I offered to pay for the relisting.
Best I can do.

to think that I would have checked, but I see it as an easy mistake to make.
My Missus, who is the Ebay expert in our house, says that the seller should
take up your offer to pay for relisting or, as you said, sell to the next
highest bidder. Its a grey area really, mistakes were made on both sides and
it is a pity that it is not going to be resolved amicably. I too would not
be able to buy another neck straight off so would be very reluctant to pay
for something that I cannot use, sadly the way things are you cant win this
dispute, so you have to part with the cash and hopefully resell or take the
knocks. Hope it all comes out ok for you.
