Strings Change from 10s to 9s

Would changing from 10's to 9's be significant in terms of the nut slots?
Basically what I'm looking to know is would a change like this require
machine work. (For lack of a better term)
The guitar came with 10's and I want to try those Ace Freely strings which
are 9's.

TIA
Chris
