Having become quite acquainted with the blues patterns, I'd like to add
the mixolydian patterns to my pattern repertoire, as I have read that
blues and myxolidian patterns can harmonize. Anyone know of a good
resource explaining how to join them. Say I use the first blues box
pattern in key of A - which mixolydian pattern would I use in A?
Thanks,

Look at this drawing that I just made:

The blue dots are your minor blues scale, the green Mixolydian and the orange Aeolian.
If the root of that blues scale is A, then your major key is going to be C which will place the root of Mixolydian at G and the root of Aeolian at A. These three scales sound great together.
