Re: Double stops
I always thought that a minimum of two notes constituted a chord, eg an A5
chord using the 6th string 5th fret/5th string 7th fret (2 notes in total).

Actually a chord requires 3 notes, a double stop is an
interval. I usually play them as 3rds on the E and B strings (thats
when I play them which is infrequently) they do have a nice melodious
sound.
