my voice fit ???

Yes, anything. It doesn't really matter. You've got some sort of
disconnect between what's coming out of your mouth and what's going
in your ears from your guitar. You got to establish and nurture that
connection.

If I sing along solo and strum assorted Guitar chords the one that
seems to most fit is B Maj...but if I then try to use the other B
maj scale chords I seem no more together than in any other key.

I'm not sure what you're saying. At this stage, I don't think you
should be spending time singing random notes and playing random chords.
That's only going to confuse you. Start with playing a simple major
scale, and sing along with it, taking care to match the notes. Then do
the same with a familiar melody, playing it as single notes on the
guitar, and striving to cleanly and clearly match those notes.

To bring it all together, take a song you want to learn to sing and
play. Play its melody on the guitar, and sing that melody, trying to
hit the notes cleanly and accuarately. When you're comfortable singing
the melody, start strumming the accompanying chords on the guitar,
continuing to sing the melody as cleanly as you were before when you
had the guitar prompting you.

It takes practice. You have to develop some independence between the
rhythms you're singing and those you're playing. There's really no easy
way to get around that. Just keep doing it over and over until you
become comfortable with it. Some songs will be easier than others, but
the more you work at it, and the more different songs you tackle, the
easier it becomes.

Another tip... it may not be time for this yet, but when you get a
little more adept at it, try taping yourself. You'll get a better sense
of what parts of the song need the most work.
