Most Christians believe we do have choice. We are not predestined. GOD
is omnipotent, but we are free to choose what we are to do. Otherwise
what would be the point of going to Church and getting saved?
So you would say that any prophesies found in the bible are actually
just lucky guesses?
No, GOD can do anything he wants, except lie.
Then why doesn't He put an end to evil?
"He is not a man that he should
lie." This is my way of looking at it, if he said something against what he already said anyway, then that would be the truth. He is all powerful. He is the one who hung the stars and moon. He even went so far once to back up the sun to prove to to Hezekiah that Isaiah was telling him a truth about his healing. The bible is the inspired word of GOD, not just some book wriiten by men to try to get you to believe an ancient story. If it is in there it is true.
So God intervenes directly in the world yet all those people were killed and hurt and homeless after the hurricane?
