Hi. I'd listen to Joe Pass, Gene Bertoncini, George Van Epps. Great arrangers of solo Jazz guitar/chord-melody. *But* not exactly simple. There are several chord/melody arrangements (free to the group) on my lessons page. But again, it's really beyond the scope of 'beginner' guitar as it were.
