if the question was about guitarists that inspire me then the answer would
be:
"The posters on this newsgroup".

They remind me that it [the guitar] can be done, show pathways to reach the
goal, pick you up when your in the doldrums, share tips n' tricks.

and they say nice things when I post my guitar'ing :-)
