I was installing some new sperzel locking tuners in my les paul studio
today and noticed a crack under the head stock. If you look at the head
stock from the back of the guitar there's that smoothed out V shaped
"gutter" where your index finger goes for example when fretting an F
Sorry but this makes no sense at all.
major. It doesn't seem like it's all the way through but is there a way I
can tell how bad it is? The problem is that I just put those new tuners
on and now, if anything odd starts to happen, I'll wonder if it's the
tuners or the crack.
Also, this is one of those solid black les paul studios - how likely is
it I'd be able to buy a new neck with the same finish? Thanks for any
input,
How likely? Zero and you must know that since the neck is set.
I am starting to wonder if this was even for real. Too many things
do not add up. Sorry.
