Generally it IS easy. You just tap left or right
to switch to the next setting. The readouts are
customizable with alphanumerics of your own
choosing and are easy to read (with your glasses
on at least).
The CAVEAT to this however, is that if you step
on it and hold it for too long, it will flash through
a series of settings at high speed (I'm guessing
at 5+ per second). If you do this in a gig, you'll
soon be lost within the midst of about 40 settings ;-)
