What makes a guitar player right handed or left handed? Is it the hand
that he uses to strum? or is it the hand to change the cords on the neck?
A left handed guitar would be upside down for a right hander.
TO play a guitar left handed you would fret with your right hand and
strum/pick with the left. This would mean the neck is pointing towards the
right, so its strung differently. If you played a Strat the wrong way round
your whammy bar would be above the strings, which would make things quite
awkward.
Check out a couple of pictures and compare them.
