IMO you need to focus on what's going on your head: the solo that is.
Next transfer that to your fingers. Sounds easy? For some: yes,
others no. Improvisation is not a process of discovery, but rather one
of creation.

Hi!.
I've been playing guitar (acoustic and electric) for 6-7 years now... I
am playing bits and pieces from a lot of songs I love
(zeppelin...stones...ccr...etc), I can sing a few while i play them etc
(my voice is awful but hey I try loll)
My goal is now to be able to "improvise" and be able to solo over a
chord progression but I am not sure where to focus. I am lurking around
here and find all those interesting posts about theory and scales...
but I am lost at where to start... is there a good site that would
help me with lessons on soloing?
Thanks!
I know that I could search and all that (and I did) but I want your
opinion right now on what would be a good web site to help me out
