I tried again last night - I was a bit closer with the chords but I still
cant get the right rythm /timing.
I can usually get the rythm ok on songs but this one........
I started to hit frustration point so fired up American Idiot and jammed
along to that - my god that was fun.
I even nearly, almost, very nearly, quite close, got the solo!
It probably sounded terrible to a 3rd person - but I thought it was fab
:-)
If you want to be sure what it sounded like. Record it. Recordings never
lie. Forget about the over all sound, it probably won't sound like you did
it in the studio. Just listen for what you were playing verses the song and
compare that.
Possibly the most fun I've had in a long long time.
Well then don't record it. It could be a BUZZ KILL :-)
