im a pretty crap guitarist so it's the latter for me! there's a lot of
songs out there that are easy to play on guitar yet sound good - its just
a matter of finding them! i dont know what music youre into but as just
one example try Simply Irresistable by Robert Palmer which im sure youve
heard - it's the guitarwork that makes that song which is probably why its
one of his more successful songs, yet its so easy to play. Add a bit of
wah when you do the little solo bit, a bit of distortion for the riffs,
and voila


If I get a group of deaf friends or if I'm playing air guitar, I'll go for
the former but, in this case, I agree with you.
Thanks for the suggestion! That's certainly a song I know and I'll check it
out!
.... although, sorry, I should have mentioned I play an acoustic.
