It is obvious you didn't read those links. Too bad. You could have
learned something. I'll just quote ONE of them (some content snipped
for brevity):
What is the accepted way to share a message across multiple newsgroups?
.... if for some reason you do wish to post to more than one, you should
always crosspost, and never multipost.
Multiposting ... is bad practice for several reasons:
* People who read two of the newsgroups to which you have posted
will see the same message twice, still marked as unread.
* Someone will go to the trouble to answer you, only to find later
that someone has already provided an answer in another newsgroup.
* Since separate copies of the message are posted, somewhat more
server space and bandwidth are taken up by the multiposts than by a
single, crossposted message.
When a message is crossposted, in most newsreaders the read or unread
status of the message will be synchronised between newsgroups, and so
people who have read the message on one newsgroup will not see the same
message still waiting to be read on the other. What is more, since
replies by default go to all the newsgroups that the original post went
to, the discussion remains intact much more easily than with a
multiposted message.
ENDQUOTE
Now, I have known this for YEARS; learned it almost instantly upon
entry to the Internet - these are long standing and established
guidelines. I think maybe you know it also - your selection of where
to break the conversation up seems way too calculated. But keep
lecturing me anyway Mike. Tell me again how rude I am. Tell me again
how I am being inconsiderate. Hold yourself up as a shining example
for all to see and follow.
Oh, and I suck at guitar too. Tell me again how horrible I am. Make
sure everyone knows how pitiful I am next to your greatness.
