I like Martins but my body acids are high and the strings change color and
die quickly. I switched to coated EXP D'Addarios and haven't had any
problems. On the other hand a small mom and pop guitar shop highly
recommended Ernie Balls and to my horror made my 12 string sound like a
badly tuned Banjo, my six wasn't much better. They weren't phosper bronze
and they looked like stainless steel and the price was higher way to tinny
for me.
