Yeah..hang in there...but the time for a 2nd opinion is NOW. Eight months?
She's way-overdue. I'm not sure where you live but even here in central Ohio
there are great hospitals and bad ones...seems there are no in betweens. Ask
around and go to the best refered one asap. Something like this should not
be put off any longer. Give her a hug from me and tell her to get in the
car.
I'm far from religous, but good-positive thoughts are are the way...
