My advice relates directly to guitars.
Your choice of guitars is going to be
astronimically limited if you go looking
for LH models. Even when available, even
if at no xtra cost, you will never have
the luxury of playing several to find
the one that speaks to you. You will
be forced to end up settling for
"the only leftie available".

I was under the impression that you were
a brand new beginner and hadn't yet developed
a "handedness" to your guitar playing.
"The market" is what you're facing when buying
a guitar. Like it or not, there aren't nearly
as many choices in LH as RH guitar. You can
stand on some kind of principle if you like.
That won't make your choice of guitars any
easier or more varied.
