Snagged: Early Sunn/Dynaco -- anybody know this amp?

This is a forward of a message I sent to AGA about an amp project that I just bought.

Since I *THINK* it's a bass amp, I thought I'd post here to see if anybody knows anything about this vintage Sunn.

I also have a 2000S that I need to get busy on.

I picked up an early Sunn with pots dating to 65. Pics are from the

Preliminary poking around says that Conrad Sundholm originally used
Dynaco/Dynakit preamps with the Mark II monoblock power amp. But then
from what I see, he used mostly the Mark III.

This appears to be an early Model 60, except is has the Dynaco Mark IV
(EL34) instead of a Mark III (6550/KT88).

I found a step by step Dynakit instructions for the power amp, and a
schematic for the Model 50 preamp. The iron tests good with a meter.
The tolex type covering has some very noticeable fading, I assume UV
damage. But if I can get it up and running, I'll be very happy.

It came with one tube... A Mullard GZ34 (not yet tested).

If I don't have a 7199 in my stash, does anybody know if the Sovtek is
decent?

Lastly, is anybody familiar with the amp itself?
