A metronome is a simple Tick tock time machine with a stead fast speed
control that clicks.
PLEASE don't cornfuze the two when COMPOSING music that is to be
recorded and/or used to teach others OR make recordings.
Or, possibly tell me how yer metronome does 11/9.
One of the songs I wrote for Whetstone had a verse organized around 21
beats; a figure comprising three 3/4 measures alternating with a
figure comprising four 3/4 measures. Then there was a 3/4 bridge and
an extended 3/4 outro. Bruce gave us more than just clicks to work
with.
But I am not musically sophisticated enough to understand 11/9. In my
limited experience, the denominator myst be 2, 4, or 8 (or maybe 16 or
32, though I've never seen those). What does the notation for a ninth-
note look like?
