I nearly added Pino to the list, but wasn't sure how international the
hits he has played on are. If I was making a list for a UK centric
demographic Pino and Mick Karn would have been on it.

Also Pino was himself heavily influenced by Jaco, so anyone influenced
by him would be Jaco influenced by proxy.

It's interesting to note though, that although Pino can do all of those
Jacoesque techniques to the same level of competence, most of the time
he doesn't play like that. If Jaco had really changed bass playing in
the way that people claim, surely we'd be hearing people like Pino
sounding like Jaco on more tunes.

I'd argue that Larry Graham/Louis Johnson had more of an influence on
bass playing as a whole due to inventing/popularising slap/pop style
playing.
