I'm curious:
Do you have DJs?
Do you treat the musicians like guests (when they're on break), or
like wait staff?
What are they paid (equivalent in U.S. dollars, please)?
Thanks.

Well, we have DJs, but at most weddings there are complete bands, I'd
think.
Musicians are not guests!;-) But they are not treated bad, they also have
lunch or dinner but maybe a little bit later cause they have to play during
lunch and dinner.
For a full wedding I'd say you have to pay between 3000 and 4000 dollars.
Of course prices are negotiable, but considering that you nave to book
bands for a wedding one year ahead there is not much room for negotians.

I once played in my former band a wedding (rock'n'roll wedding). We played
approx. 4 to 5 hours and charged 1500 Dollars. But it's difficult to
compare since a normal band works much longer than we did

It was a very nice wedding, but the room was a bit too big, there were only
60 people in room with a capacitiy for 200 to 300 people.
