Looks like China is making bullet-proof copies for dirt cheap. Guitars
seem trivial when you consider that this also involves a lot of other
stuff too. like critical aircraft components, medications, etc....
Not wishing to make this political (I can go to rec.boats for that)
but this is a problem with a global economy and dealing with a
nation[s] that couldnt' care less about patents and copyright
infringement charges.
Bad deal and hard to fight.
China doesnt give 2 shits about us North Americans....
Well, far for me to enter into a political debate, however China's new
status -- it now owns nearly $1 out of every $10 in U.S. public debt
-- means China, in fact, may be the government's largest creditor,
period.
That they can do this and ignore everything from basic human rights to
copyrights infringements is appalling, as is the voracity of the
appetite consumers have for "cheap" items - including guitars.
