Yeah, that was one of the first PUs I looked at. I wasn't crazy about it for
a few reasons, mostly because it's a single coil passive PU.
It is literally all I could find that met the 3.5" requirement. Too bad
3-1/8" won't cut it - I really like EMGs.

I'm installing a magnetic pickup (to deal with volume issues primarily)ona piezo pair.
Only problem is, the ONE pickup I need (Lace Alumitone Bar 3.5 inch) iselse,perma-backorder from MF. Since the PU placement determines everything3.5I can't move forward.
I need it because the bar magnets go all the way to the ends of the PU,casein. In every other PU, the polepieces either stop at like 2.5, or thefromextends past 3.5in
It's complicated to explain why, but this is what I need. I've already
checked out Di Marzzio and EMG, and sent them back.
Looking for an active PU too - no passives if at all possible. The
Alumitione is naturally LoZ, or so they say.
If anyone has any other ideas, I'm open. Preferably something I can get<http://www.gollihurmusic.com/product/1377-SCHALLER_MAGNETIC_UPRIGHT_BASS_PIMF, since I have a sizeable credit there.

4x(7/8)" yields 3.5"
