Friday:
    * 10:30 pm
    * Uncle Mike's, 57 Murray Street New York, New York, NY

Saturday:

The Thursday & Friday gigs are club gigs where we play for one set.
Any and all are encouraged to come check us out.  I'll be glad to buy
you a beverage just for coming out!

The Saturday gig is a Catholic gathering geared towards youth ministry.

I still haven't decided if the bass is being checked in a hard shell
case, or carry on.

The thing is, can anyone tell me about the backline situation at the
clubs? Ok, I just looked at the clubs' website, and they actually list
the backline equipment on the website.  Very cool.

I know this has been kicked around forever here, but I recommend you
assume you can't carry your bass on the plane. Assuming the opposite
might leave you with a nasty surprise at the gate. That leaves with
three choices:
1-check it in a hard shell case and take your chances (don't care how
"hard" the case is - you're dealing with airlines, here!),
2-rent a bass in the city - hundreds of places - or
3-ship your bass ahead of time if you have a secure place to send it.
Don't know where you're coming from but last time I played on the
other side of the country, I shipped via FedEx, it cost me about $30
each way, and I never spent $60 more wisely. Nothing to schlep,
nothing to worry about, care-free travel! When you ship, you can pack
it as you wish, very securely, no one opens it for "security".
Just my 2¢.
