Cysco nonstick pan spray [aka '"Pam"]. I've tried it,
it works. Acoarst it's handy to know the cook if your
venue has a kitchen. Or you can just get some Pam
from the grocery store. Cheaper than FastFret.
I'm not a speed player, but sometimes I my lefthand
fingers, [esp. 3rd finger] get friction burns from the
intersection of FW, FL, and SI [sudden inspiration].
Also, I have FW callouses which are different from
RW callouses, formed by compression rather than
abrasion. On the occasion that I do play RWs, I'm
at risk of the RWs "sawing thru" my callouses. FW
callouses a smooth, thin, and brittle.
