My Dinner With Corey

My wife and I had dinner with Corey Benson and his wife at a little New
Orleans/Jazz restaurant in Charlotte Sunday evening.

We talked about all things bass and bored the wives to tears, he got to play
my fanned fret monster, and I even got up and sat in with the band for a few
numbers - without rehearsing.

They were both very nice people, and Corey was much as I pictured him (in a
good way). I believe he said I was nothing like he pictured me to be (I
think in a good way), but I'll have to let him comment on that.

Corey took some pics, which I think he'll have up somewhere soon. We're
already talking about next year.
