No, you didn't. Do you think anyone's parents were playing The Ohio Express, the Archies, etc? Do you think that kids' parents today are playing "dancing boy bands, pop tarts and hip hop"? We all heard all that "adult" stuff when we were kids, but it just doesn't appeal naturally to kids the way music that's targeted at kids does. It's a function of age. As I said, the important thing is that there's good music available when the kids grow to the point where they want to hear it -- it might come from parents.
