Wow...with eyesight like that you should be a fighter pilot. I'm lucky
if I can see more than 100 meters over open sights at a black over white
bullseye, let alone 1 kilometer through a peep sight at a brown deer with
trees for a background. Jebus christus, you're in the wrong profession.

I've worn glasses since I was 5. The deer was standing in a meadow in
front of low bushes and was plainly visable against the green background.
Where did I say that the background was trees? Sure, it was a lucky shot,
but I started shooting rifles when I was six, and squirrel and rabbit hunted
(successfully) with a .22 with open sights when I was a kid.
