I often play bass note for note?sometimes not.
The reason is that it is easier for me to play what they are playing
on an MP3 than it is to try to create my own bass lines to a song.
Sometimes improv bass lines don?t work.
Note for note lines always work.

Ha. You don't know the guitarist in one of my bands. He can keep any song
from working right. I think his presence could even keep a CD from playing
correctly.
