WOW! That is a ton of money. I bought a cargo van to haul my band's
gear around in for much less than that. You gonna post some pics??

I wasn't planning on posting any photos. There are better ones on the
Sadowsky site and it's kind of a shitty gold color anyway. As far as the
cost; it's half the price of a new one and I have a good job that allows me
the luxury of buying the toys that I couldn't afford when I was younger.

I used to wonder why people would spend money on foreign cars other than
status until I helped tear apart and rebuild a 1966 Jaguar E Type in 1972.
It was an engineering masterpiece and as each piece was cleaned up and put
back together the intricate beauty of it all became evident and when we
finally got to drive it the appreciation was 10 fold. The same is true with
a nice bass and if you get the chance to try one you'll instantly see what I
mean as there are no tricks to it and the quality is very evident.
Conversely you can easily pay well over $2K for a vintage Fender that is no
where near the quality and playing comfort of a well built custom or
boutique bass and can be easily duplicated, or surpassed, with a MIM Fender
and some low cost mods.
