Hey all
Got my first ever gig coming up this friday. 5 Peice Heavy Metal band,
2 covers and 3 originals. As if my nerves weren't already tingling,
first song we're doing is "For whom the bell tolls" by Metallica,
which has a lovely intro....of a high chromatic scale on the bass.
Eeeep.
Any tips? I mean everything, from Gear to carry, to combating nerves,
is appreciated.

You have a gig playing 5 tunes? Gee, when I play, I do 48 to 55 tunes
per night.....and sing them all. Where can I get a gig like that ,
playing 5 tunes and getting full pay?
