LOL, just for the record I actually have had several day jobs. I worked
on and off as a temp for a couple of years doing office work and filing,
then they screwed me on my last job so I walked away and never called back.
I was working the typical 8:30 to 5:00 deal on top of gigging, it was a pain
but it funded the majority of my high-end gear. Now I'm teaching and
playing and doing odd jobs here and there but nothing full time.
As for the wife and kids part, you can keep it man! Them girls are
nothin' but trouble, but a jazz bass is forever.
