I hope JS is not serious in his condemnation of playing music for any purpose other than income. Music is art, and there are many of us who no longer pursue music as a vocation, but are still artists and still need to express ourselves through music. I am one of those. I play bass for the sheer love of playing bass. My band days are over for now, but if I found a few other musicians to create with, I would be happy to do so. There's nothing wrong with creating and playing music because you enjoy it, even if you don't make a profit doing it. Congratulations to anyone to plays in an originals band for artistic expression through music!
