Beat by the "early birds". You DO know there are morons who drive around at
4AM, casing all the garage sales before anyone, right? Hence the "no early
birds" notice in the advertisement.
That's also why I've never found the 1957 Kay upright for $50 that everyone
else seems to find... :(

Hi, today my wife was reading the local newspaper online rummage sales
in town today and says hey here is a sale with a bass amp. I go goody
lets go check it out! So we get in the truck and drive 11 miles to town.
We get to the sale and Wo ho there sits this bass amp,not too big but
good sized. I see it from the street. I was happy it was still there. I
walk into the garage an it was a 100 watt peavey, looked to be late
70s, Then I see a 5 dollar price tag on it. Wow this is my day, then I
see a sold sticker on it. Then I felt like crap. The woman said she sold
it first thing when she opened, maybe she said I should have put a
higher price on it, I said I would give her way more, but she would not
let it go. So I had to sit and look at it while my wife dinked around
buying rummage crap, oh well I can't win them all, I just had to rant
about this some where. Thanks for listening guys Dan
.
