I love my AC50 but now kinda wish i'd gotten the fretless one. The
unplugged craze was why I got mine in the first place. You're not
going to hear an ABG without pluging in anyway in a gig situation so
why hassle with the wide body.
Just to play devil's advocate here - if you're going acoustic, why not
play an upright bass instead? The schlep factor is about the only
reason I can see.
