Little Giant amps?

Hi, has the Ashdown Little giant 1000 been released into the wild in
America yet?.
I am waiting for the release over here in the UK, but I don't think I will
buy it straight
away until I get an idea of how useful it really is.
Has anyone tried it out yet, what can we expect from it.
