Hey guys...
I have the opportunity to pick up a Workingman's 410T Cabinet this weekend
for aboot 250 Canadian. Just wondering if anyone here has had any major
complaints about it. I play mainly fretless and fretted 5 string (we do a
LOT of Marillion and Toto) at pretty reasonable levels, so I will never push
it hard. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you have no problem with the size and weight, it's probably a great
sounding cab. I own a 210 SWR and like it a lot. One of the best
sounding cabs I ever played was an Eden 410, but at over 100 pounds,
even though it was on close out and cheap, I passed. Just too much.
These days if I really have to push my own sound (rare), I use two
SWRs - a 210 and 115. Much easier to handle, greater flexibility. For
an even smaller rig, I use a combination of the 210 and single 12" or
2 single 12"s. The advantage of combining cabs is that the ohms drop
to 4, hence greater efficiency from my head (either an Eden WT400 or
GK150, not that you asked...:-)
