The numbers don't look like much, it's true, but adding a second cab will get you a significant boost in volume. It's more than just getting that additional electrical power out of the amp, it's also the additional acoustic power you get from having more speaker cone area. In my experience, anyway, it always seems that you get more of a volume boost than you expect.

Borrow a cab and give it a try, before you plunk down the coin for another cab.
