Hawaiian shirts are cool if they're nice ones. I have around 60 ranging
from black silk with very subtle sublimated palms to sedate Cooke St
reverse prints to semi loud. You just have to have some taste and choose
the right one for the situation.

Okay, I'm not making this up: Today I was in Ross (keep your
snickering to yourself, please) and found a... wait for it... black
short-sleeve button-up shirt with "sublimated" palms (I really don't
think "sublimated" is the word you're looking for; maybe subliminal,
but maybe not). Twelve bucks, so you can bet your ass I bought it.
Strictly gigwear, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it on the street.
It'll be perfect for our next island gig. I just hope someday we can
book an island gig.
