The music signal has different levels of power at different frequencies,
but the physical capabilities of the speakers are independent of
frequency.
No doubt that's true, but it's also true that the resistance of the coil
depends on the frequency being reproduced, which may translate to the
amplifier not being able to provide the same wattage at all frequencies.
You may have a couple concepts misarranged...Being picky, but the
resistance (DC) never varies for any reason, where the impedance (AC)
varies with frequency.
