The female singer from a previous band got in touch and said her parents
want to buy her a nice mic for her birthday, and she asked me for opinions.
I have no idea. This woman's got a gorgeous voice, and she doesn't want to
be at the mercy of whatever stepped-on spit-on mic is at a gig. And anyway,
it's HER instrument, so she should have one. Can you gods of music offer
maybe 3 suggestions, in different price ranges, in case ma & pa don't know
what they're getting into? I have no idea what to suggest. And soon, I'll
have to share the same advice with whatever singer I end up with in my band.
Thank you, and don't run with scissors.
Oh... lest I forget wireless.... Sennheiser Evolution series gets
my pick there.

She'd have a lot more flexibility with that if the 'rents are willing
spend the $'s. Choose a channel bank based on where she lives and
the UHF TV stations in the area.
