punch and bang for the buck. Mesa's are overpriced in my opinion.
And SVT is great but it will sound very different than the 1001RB
(mellower, and less punchy primarily).

10's or 12's on the bottom are a good call. The roundness of a single
15 mixes with a 2x10 is my rig and I like it much. 4x10's are nice
but goddamn heavy and that'll get old in a hurry.

The quality of the cabs is paramount. I like Eden D210XLT on top
with any ole 15 under it. Any money you can save on the head should
go to the cabs, and don't be afraid to use a place like Guitar
Center's return policy to audition a head in a practice setting before
committing to keeping it. Something that sounds wonderful in the
store may not cut worth a poo in a full volume rehearsal or gig.
