Specifically, Todd H.Douchebag copied the defamatory diatribe that
Jim Carr had removed and re-posted it on his website. Jim Carr
wasn't at all happy about that and, because of copyright issues, was
able to force Todd H. Douchebag to remove the clone from his
website.

Sorry Gary, not quite accurate. I grabbed a copy of Jim's page and
had it on my site for about 7 days until you a) found it in your daily
google search you do of yourself, and b) posted accusing him of having
something to do with it. I voluntarily removed it myself February
11th and send an apology to Jim for using it without his permission.
I removed it because it was going to cause Jim trouble.

Feb 11 was a full week before that Feb 18th mail he sent to the two of
us asking me to remove it. So no, Jim didn't have to ask me to
remove it--it was down a week before. I just didn't send you a note
about it. :-)

Unfortunately, Todd H. Douchebag wasn't smart enough to follow Jim
Carr's lead and leave well enough alone. Instead, Todd H Douchebag
created his own defamatory web page. As a result, I'm back with more
of the same until such time as Todd H. Douchebag comes to his senses
and is prepared to follow Jim Carr's sensible lead.

If we were to strike a "deal" over trying to cover up an accurate
history of what you've done, you'd just pick up on someone else and
the cycle would continue. YOu seem to have a long history in usenet
with this.

P.S. Because of the unmanticipated interference by Todd H.Douchebag,
the original agreement between myself and Jim Carr has been
re-negotiated. Specifically, I won't hassle him any more, but I
will continue to post to the alt.guitar.bass cesspool ultil such
time as Todd H. Douchebag comes to his senses and agrees to remove
his defamatory web page.

I think our legal counsel here will affirm that it's not defamatory if
it documents things that actually happened. And because you post with
an address you don't own, the google archive will have a long memory
of your postings here that reinforce everything that's on your fan
page.

The best way to make that page (or any others that people might be
inspired to write) go away is to become a better man and improve your
behavior, not by threatening to be even more of an ***.

So here's the deal I considered making with you: you refrain from
abusing anyone in this newsgroup for one year from this date, and I'll
cheerfully change the page. It's your abuse and antisocial behavior
that's the problem here, not my documenting of it.

But I know from having observed your behavior that that's like asking
an alcoholic to not crave alcohol. I don't this this is an attainable
goal for ya. You're far too broken for that to work.
