What did you do to the guitar? Did you transpose it afterward? It
sounds processed (in a bad way). Particularly the solo guit. Sounds
resampled.
The bass sounds good. It's really a 10$ bass? I want one! Even 5 or
10!
The song was originally recorded at 60 beats per minute and the wife
suggested that I speed it up. (Her exact words were..."If the song was
any slower, You'd be playing it backwards!") So instead of re-
recording the entire song, I exported the instrument mix into a wav
file and changed the tempo with Audacity. I then imported it back
into my Tascam 8-track and re-recorded the vocal tracks. I believe
that when I changed the tempo, It did something to the sound.
The original version can be heard here:

On this, It's just my DeArmond M66 straight into the Tascam 8-track
with the "Tweed" setting on the Recorder's internal effects modeler.
And yes, that really is a $10 bass. I got it off ebay for one of my
daughter's christmas presents. She has a habit of quitting everything
she's ever tried and I wasn't about to fork out several hundred
dollars for a bass that she might not play after a couple of weeks. I
told her that if she keeps up on it and takes care of it, She'll have
a Fender Jazz by July.
