Any reasonably capable person trained in the art can debate either side

I did the same thing back when I was an addict, and I'm amazed at how much I deluded myself back then.

I detect more cognitive dissonance on the part of *ex* smokers than
on the part of those who currently smoke. It's not an easy thing.

An addiction does whatever is necessary to protect itself, including brainwashing the addict. Does anyone here doubt that smoking adds billions of dollars to our national health care costs?
